WHO WE ARE

ELEVATE IS TIMA

We are not a separate church or independent ministry. We are one of TIMA Anglican Parish's five congregations:

1. 2:00pm Mandarin Congregation at St Mark's Templestowe

2. 4:00pm Mandarin Congregation at St Stephen's Greythorn

3. 10:00am Cantonese Congregation at St Stephen's Greythorn

4. 10:00am English Congregation (established English) at St Mark's Templestowe

5. Elevate Church (next-generation English) at St Stephen's Greythorn

We share:

▪        The same Vicar and leadership team

▪        The same ABCDE core values (Anglican, Biblical, Community, Discipleship, Evangelism)

▪        The same vision and mission: "To go and make Christ’s disciples for all nations, through learning, practising and teaching the word of God to revitalise existing churches."

What makes Elevate distinct is not our identity (we're TIMA) but our context: We're TIMA's ministry to next-generation believers.

ELEVATE'S FLARE PRACTICES

While Elevate shares TIMA's ABCDE core values, we've developed five practices (FLARE) that show how we live out those values in our context:

F - Family of Christ

We live as one family in Christ, united by faith. We commit to loving, forgiving, and supporting one another across cultures and generations, sharing life together as God’s people.

L - Leaders

We grow leaders who serve with courage, humility, and purpose. Every person is trained, empowered, and encouraged to take ownership in ministry and to raise up others to do the same.

A - Ambassadors of God's Kingdom

We represent God’s kingdom wherever we go, in school, work, and community. We serve with excellence, compassion, and eternal purpose so that people may see Christ through our lives.

R - Relationship with God

We put God at the centre of everything we do. Through prayer, Scripture, and worship, we stay connected to Him and depend on His strength for all ministry and life.

E - Empowered Youth

We believe young people are not the church of tomorrow but the church of today. We empower youth to lead, innovate, and shape the future of the church together with people of all ages and life stages.
